Day2Day Wellness™
Day2Day Wellness™ is ABM’s suite of wellness and health management programs and services. All of these programs are designed to provide results-oriented wellness solutions for its customers. The first step to real health care management is corporate management’s buy-in to the following:
- A small percentage of plan member’s drive 75-80% of the cost of health care.
- The health of these same people results in increased absenteeism and decreased productivity.
- A significant percentage of health claims are the result of life style issues.
These life styles and their resulting use of significant health care dollars, increased absenteeism and reduced productivity can be impacted with the right combination of wellness and health management programs and incentives.

Health Risk Assessments (HRA)
One of the first steps in identifying high risk health issues is through an HRA. These comprehensive tools are available either in paper form or on line. We also offer a self-directed HRA product (Health-e-Outlook) that serves to assist those people looking for an interactive tool to help them deal day-to-day on their own with Diabetes, Weight Loss, Smoking and a number of other issues.
Disease Management Programs
These programs are designed to engage the plan participant in the day to day management of their high risk health issue, typically identified through the completion of an HRA (Health Risk Assessment).
24-Hour Nurseline Counselors
This product is normally offered in the case of larger group health plans (75+) when attached to our administrative services program.
CareEngine®
This program monitors the medical treatment of patients and compares the treatment to Best Practices models. Any variation from Best Practices is identified and relayed back to the treating physician. This is typically offered in connection with our administrative services program.
Employee Communication and Health Education Materials
A combination of newsletters, brochures, posters, payroll stuffers, etc. all serves to educate and communicate with the plan members in areas of wellness and health management. A wide choice of preprinted materials is available to serve any unique population.
Self-Help Reference Books
It has been shown that 55% of people who go to the emergency room are not in need of urgent care. 40% of physician office visits could be handled by telephone. 60% of after-hours calls to physicians can be managed with self-care only. We offer valuable, inexpensive, resource materials to assist in keeping medical costs down in these areas.
